CNY in short
DAY 1
this year is abit different from the rest of the years, i actually spoke more than 5 mins :O
i usually dun talk more than 1 min to one person, but i talked to my yi jiong(uncle) for a long time.
ok, 1st thing 1st, today's location was new for once, kao fu moved house to a hdb, 4 room flat. we took the cab to who know where, the driver dunno how to get there, so we ended up going in circles, but it's ok, i wasnt really excited going there anyway.
we reached there, i finally got to c my cousin, he is away in australia studying. in my memory, every1 went to study in australia. but anyway, found out that he is 12 yrs older than me :O i nv noticed, cuz he has baby face. it seems like all my relatives all have baby face, they all look younger than their actual age. n they all guys handsome, girls pretty.
i feel better this year, i dunno y but aft every conversation, then follows an awkward moment, then i would turn away from them, which leads to more awkward moments. as i mentioned, not more than 1 min of conversation for each person.
at 1st it was like this, then somehow i sat down next to yi jiong and we started to talk.
we talked a lot of stuff, but still mainly on rp. how the education is an interesting concept, how it helps us to be vocal etc. talked about life and how we should get out of comfort zone to make it, how different ppl have their own perspective, and how we shouldn't be a 'follower' just cuz every1 is doing it.
i know all that, but just listening is good. he says rp is good, he even said that i gained some confidence in myself, he says he can feel it woah... tt means i should thank rp instead.
i said i still have mixed feelings abt rp, and he said to be confident in the things i do, and the situtaion i'm in.
then i talked to the cousin i din see in years, my uncle's son, well he is guadrating this july, so i asked what job he is taking. he said he was considering a job at rp as a facilitator. & im like :O, ok join us!
gave him some tips like make friends with the students etc
it seems like they r all very supportive of rp
yea, as soon as i was getting comfortable there, we have to go... btw the food was worse than last years... cant they prepare something more local like curry and fishball? oya, the vegetarian dish is there, every year la... i think they loved tt dish till death*shudders* in case u r wondering, i HATE that dish
DAY 2
went to yi jiong's house today. everybody was gone by the time we went, cuz they r rushing to go play mahjong in the hse i went to yesterday. it is also cuz my sis la, slept until 12 plus, then reached there ard 1 liao, no wonder they all left. but anyway, aft that we just sit there and chichat, then we went up and watched evan almighty
i watched b4, but dada wanna watch, so we pei him watch. left ard 5. motion sickness really makes me sick, i can take airplane and boat, only bus and taxis give me headache
am i too senstitive to carbon monoxide?
rot at home on yesterday
2DAY
i dragged myself to church, cuz im feeling really tired, din sleep well last night, but still managed to drag myself off the bed.
then today cuz its still near cny, then alot of kids nv come, anyway, it wasnt suppose to be my turn, i was there to learn how to conduct lessons, but in the end lessons were cancelled and i'm in charged of taking care of them
played masak masak with them, i have forgotten the feeling of playing that already. pretending is not as fun as last time, i tried my best to 'make believe' with them
then went home, then go to ma ma*grandma* house. she looks ok, but with a walking stick.
so aft all this collecting of ang bao last few days ive got almost 200. 100 from mummy -.-"
anyway, this yr was better than last yr, at least im talking haha so i hope it keeps getting better every year
just now mumy had a little fever, so i cooked fish congee, woots, at least it's edible lolol
i heated up veggies, made crabmeat salad, and nuggets*yummy*
sponged mummy with water and gave her panadol, she is feeling better now
