there is a mother turtle that came from the sea, to the beach to lay eggs. after lying eggs, it got confused, maybe because of laying eggs. so it took a wrong turn, and made it's way back inland. a human came up to her and overturned her. if she can speak, she would probably be cursing like a sailor, because being overturned is uncomfortable.
the human even tied a rope around the turtle and starts to drag it. drag where? back to the ocean la.
even though the human is being "unreasonable", "use alot of force", makes her uncomfortable, but he is even in fact saving her.
sounds really familiar?
i messed up, i took the wrong turn, God turned me upside down, made me uncomfortable, "use a lot of force", "unreasonable" at times. but he did it to save my life.
and i'm glad he did
today's sermon was this message. and i think it is an awesome story to share.
yesterday night was the healing rally. was really tired, because went out in the morn till afternoon. after like 1 hr, need to go church. BUT as soon as i reached church, i'm back. praise the lord.
it is an eye opener, even though i've seen people collapsing due to the holy spirit many times, but still.
before the real healing begin, we were made to proclaim our faith. without faith or believeing you will be healed, you won't be heal. and that night, i believed with my whole heart, there weren't doubts.
i was ushering, so i was helping people. then my bro made me stand there, to be prayed on. but there is this woman, who is a mute, and as she was being prayed on, she started having signs of vomiting. so as an usher, i took plastic bags. the pastor was commanding for the evil spirit to get out of her.
some how, she stopped having those symptoms, it seems like the prayer is having no effect on her. but she was being held by another usher from the back. the pastor kept on praying for her. then i prayed for her, while holding plastic bag infront of her. i can't pray as well as the pastor so i kept chanting hallelujah which means praise to the lord
and after a while she fell down. i saw a lot of people fall, but not THAT close before. and i was kinda shocked. i held the plastic bag for the rest of the service lol.
by the way, when she regained conscious, she can say "hallelujah". mute for most of her life leh! now can say hallelujah! wow!
there are some friends that i wished that they were there. because i feel that they need healing. but they ... haix. i won't be discouraged, there is always a next healing rally.
i learnt alot during these 2 days, most importantly is how to pray. the trick is pray sincerely, and everything just comes out naturally. another thing i've learnt, is how to have faith wholeheartedly. when everything fails, all you need is faith in Him.
and i've experienced these 2 first hand. which is COOL~
